Dear Guests, we’re very excited about Elviae & David’s wedding as we’re sure you are too. This is why we want to make as much of the planning and organising go as smoothly as possible for the happy couple, as well as you! Here you will find information about the travel arrangements we’re putting in place to get all guests to the wedding.
We aim to provide the best possible service to everyone, making your individual stay a special one. You’ll find all the information you need throughout this page.
Top Tips
- Book Early! Airlines & hotels use ‘flexible-pricing’, which means as seats and rooms get booked, the subsequent batch of seats and rooms, are more expensive. Get yours secured at an early rate.
- We’re here to make things as easy as possible, whilst providing a higher degree of service to all guests. So if you ever have any queries, get in touch at the earliest moment.
- If travelling solo, we highly advise finding a ‘travel-buddy’. Single travel can be considerably more per person, than if sharing.
- Be flexible with your dates, this will help get the best value itinerary.
Choosing Travel Antares
Everything is included: Flights, baggage, accommodation and guest-only transfers. This means no massive coaches stopping at every hotel between the airport and your destination. You’ll be whisked off directly to the hotel from the airport and back again at the end of your trip.
We’re providing you with the earliest possible moment to book your trip, thus giving you the ultimate flexibility to pay any way you wish, over the longest time. Check the details further down on this page for more info on payments.
Travel Antares is passionate about its customers, so we pride ourselves on being different from the large faceless travel companies. We’re very responsive to our client’s needs, so there’ll be no endless waiting for email replies or long holds on the phone.
Booking as a wedding guest with Travel Antares means you’ll be in the know about any changes to the wedding itself, as well as travel updates and news. Guests not under the umbrella of Travel Antares, will not benefit from the central organisation and we can’t assist in the event of travel issues.

Chania - Crete
The venue for the wedding is located just to the west of the beautiful town of Chania, offering a stunning backdrop for the big celebration. Accommodation options range from larger all-inclusive resorts with plenty of amenities to charming, more intimate boutique hotels and B&Bs.
Whether you’re staying for a few days or making a longer trip of it, there’s plenty of flexibility. Guests can choose to simply enjoy the wedding and nearby surroundings or take the opportunity to explore more of Crete. For those wanting an even bigger adventure, island-hopping to other Greek destinations can also be arranged.

There are many options to choose from in the area, as well the wider Crete island. Below are our recommendations, covering various tastes, ideal spend ranges and drive/walking time to the venue:

There are more options further afield, but these represent superior locations and standards in the vicinity of the venue. If you wish to explore more of Crete we can certainly provide a suitable itinerary for you, including transport to/from the wedding. Please let us know on your RSVP form.
Booking & Payments
To start the booking process, simply fill out the guest RSVP form. We’ll then get to work providing you with an itinerary suitable for your requirements. We can either book you, what we like to call ‘off-the-shelf’ packages from our partners, or if you want something a little more personalised, we will tailor a package to exactly what you want.
After your initial deposit, you will have the ultimate flexibility and can pay off any amount of balance between booking and the balance due date.
So as long as your balance is cleared on time, you may chip away as much as you wish.
Greece
Greece is a well-travelled destination, but guests should still ensure they’re familiar with the latest entry requirements. This is especially important as the EU are slowly starting to implement new requirements for all it’s member countries. While most travellers won’t face any major issues with these new requirements we advise getting up to speed early.
